Subject: baby pumpkins growing on arbor?

Hey all, i have been wondering how vigerous the tiny pumpkin plants are, the baby boo variety or something? since i have never grown them, only the giants, i have a couple of garden arbors ive biult the last couple of years and i was thinking of planting the tiny variety of pumpkins under them instead of the usual morning glorys, what you all think, any suggestions? ~wildbill

Two years ago I had a single Jack-be-little plant produce 121 pumpkins. They just love liquid seaweed and fish. Made great decorations-some even lasted past New Year's.

WildBill..I grew'm in 99 on a chain link fence and let them climb...they did well.I weaved the tips around the chainlink every once-in-a-while but between the tendrils and the weaving they did well. Borers like them too..so beware......Glenn A.

lol, yes it will be hard to keep the seaweed and fish liquids away from the little plant, its the only way i know how to grow pumpkins.lol ~Bill
