I was wondering, while thinking about my crosses that i plan to plant this year. And thought its all fine and good that the newer plants get really dark orange but what about some of the really old seeds. Does anybody know of any orange seeds from like 1985-1995 i would be interested to know just how orange they couled get if germinated and crossed with some of the newer ones.

You might try some of the older Bhaskaran seeds. http://www.hort.net/lists/highlight.cgi?bits=3&search=359+Bhaskaran&URL=pumpkins/dec01/msg00001.html#marker
