I was out looking for some manure today and found a large amount of rain wetted horse manure and dirt from flooded corrals. The only thing that worries me is that there may be too much urine in the mix when it was in the corral. Will the urine be good or bad for pumpkin growing? We had about 3-1/4 inches of rain last week.

Water, I have the same concerns as my manure supply is very fresh, I have spread the "goodies" over a 15x15 foot area of grass that I plan on incorperating into an existing patch. I am hoping that the snow and early spring rains will leach most of the urine and salts into the lawn. I am sure that this weekend is the last one to go "turd huntin" though as it will take at least two months to cure my stash of Doo Doo..
