You've got our snow- send it back!!!! No snowmobiling unless we go 4 hours north. Over the next 1-2 days, we're slated to get anywhere from a dusting to 4 inches, which is more than we've had all year. My patch is just about bare with the winter rye poking through.

We could use some moisture here. We've had a very dry winter so far. The growing season was dry last year as well. Cold temps. are moving into MN. We could hit -20 F on the weekend, here in central MN.

I would love to see some of the white stuff here. We haven't had a single plowable storm yet. My customers who plow "by the inch" are going to be broke come spring.
The guys who plow "by contract" are rolling in dough!
Already the site managers of some office parks are asking for concessions. HAH!
We have 19 trailer of Calcium, Magnesium, Rock Salt & CMA hybrids to get rid of...PLEASE SOME SNOW!!!

Snow sucks when you work on trucks for a living. All that road salt dripping on you when they thaw makes for a long day at work. You guys can have it!

Hey Wiz I think we got more down here than up north this round, This was more of a southern colorado storm, as south of pueblo got hammered again,/ the wet mountains. The wet mountains have been the desert mountains for tooo long now, and maybe colorado and the snow patterns are returning back to normal....Yippeeeee......No more water restrictions, But there is now a stormwater runoff tax we will be getting depending on the sq. ft of property you own and the type of surface you have on a percentage of your property, but it is illegal to captuer natural runoff from your property, and you can be fined for doing so. But now that the utilities had a reason to raise water rates due to years of drought, we will permanentely pay way too much for water now even though the reseviors are overflowing and the government will make record profits selling the water downstream to other southwestern states. It is not about how much moisture we get, it is how much government can cry about $$$$$$$$, as now all they can do is b...tch about snow removal and the damage the weather has done to roads, but they are broke even though colorado voted to let the state keep the excess sales tax revenue, and now vehicle registration costs more...Just wait for the next big storm and more government excuses to rob the pockets of the people of colorado on the local and state level.....It stinks , but let it snow

Sorry for the long colorado rambling, as cabin fever is almost setting in. Too many months of cold and snow, and it is currently well below 0 and dropping fast with snow. You guys back east can have it, this weather gets old after awhile. From what I have seen we have not had a winter like this since the early 1970s. It just keeps growing and not melting. I think the even bigger storm is still to come, which will cripple this state like we have not seen in history due to too many people that live here now...Few native colorado people still live here that can remember real storms of years ago, but I do....Let it snow...JK

The problem with some cities in coloaarado, is many yrs, the cities don't use all of their snow budget, sothey have gotten use to usng it for nonessential items, like oh say trips.
Water rights are a big thing here, and they aren't cheap either.

We FINALLY got the first 'decent' snow in several years! Though by most of your standards 1-2" isn't much, he, he, he... But I was FINALLY able to take my younger stepson 'horse sleddin' - which I'd been promising for over 3 years..
Horse sleddin = one horse w/western saddle, one 'ski rope', and a kid on a plastic disk sled.... We had a blast for two hours! Then the snow started to melt...
