Hello Everyone! It's a beautiful sunny day here in Port Elgin...lots of snow....but that's okay! Anyway, I will be in the office tonight from 7pm-9pm EST for all those wishing to register for the Convention. You can register Monday to Friday 9am-5pm as well. The number here is 1-800-387-3456.

I would encourage any serious giant pumpkin grower to attend this convention.
Many of todays top growers will be in attendance. Truely the only place you can go to rub elbows with some of our hobbies most successful growers.
Besides, its nice to be able to put a face next to a name as they say.
What better place to do it than at this convention.
You dont have to go it alone either. Especially if you live within a resonable distance of Niagra Falls.( YOU DONT NEED A PASS PORT EITHER UNLESS YOU ARE FLYING INTO CANADA )
Get you gang together, pool the resources and join in the fun
A great experience awaits you.

You don't need a passport to drive in to Canada. You need a passort to fly into Canada. In 2008 that is suppose to change and you will need a passport for both. But for this year, as long as you are driving across the boarder you are fine.

I'm with Pap. The International Convention is the place to go to meet the top growers in the World. It's one of those events that every pumpkin grower should attend at least once during their growing days. I've been to just about all of them & it's always a great time. We booked our hotel room yesterday. I look forward to visiting with many of our pumpkin friends. See you there Pap. Take care.

a great time is had by all. dont want to talk pumpkins 24-7 thats ok neither do i. (only 12-7 lol )
go to the casino or just view the falls, or go to the many restrauants and gift shops. the night life is pretty good as well/ whooooooooooooooooooooooo

I honestly have no idea. I believe it is against the law to drive with out insurance, but I don't know if they will ask at the boarder.

Unless you want to sit at the border and try to explain why you grow AGs,how big are they?, what you do with them?, do you feed them milk?, how about steroids?,how many years do they take to grow?,do they make good pies?, they're having a convention for this?, etc.,etc.,etc., etc., ALL you have to do is say that you're going to the Casino. My experience is they'll wave you right in! (I've never been checked for insurance).
