Hi I just wanted to post this poem that i came up with, to dedicate it to your 1502 world record accomplishment.
The Giant Pumpkin Tree When I was a little tree I was almost 5'3. They planted me in the yard one day so that I might grow and give some shade. Before my owner took off to france, a blossom appeared just by chance. This blossom was the prettiest you have ever seen it was yellow and pink with green in between.I nourished and helped this little bloom because it was at the end of June. The bloom got pollinated by a another plant should have heard my owner rant. The fruit grew, and grew until it was 1502. If you dont think this story is true go ask that little tree, he will tell you that he grew a fruit that was 1502. By: Eric Kunzler 2007 Congratuations on reaching the first pumpkin over 1500 pounds.

Great poem,
A 1502 what ever did he do?
he had been growing with his dad, since he was a lad.
The love of growing is in him and his dad.
What ever they do, wherever they go
He and his dad grew the 1502

In 2006, a new world record in the mix, Why? Because Ron Wallace planted it, The cross a 1068 x a 1354 Checkon, Ended up a 1502 I reckon, but in 2007, Another world record will be set, Who's gonna beat the 1502, Lets place a bet!

1502, is that what you said? Bet it was grown in a patch and not in a flower bed!
So who was it, who knew the trick? Was it Ron Wallace or his brother Dick...
1502 is sure mighty big, Something you'd haul with a tractor rig!
2007 is coming up quick, So reach up your sleeves and pull out your tricks!
Cause 1502 will be hard to beat, Especially in Georgia with all of this HEAT!
So scramble and dig through all of those seeds, And get your patch ready and rid of those weeds!
Ron and Dick Wallace will be keeping an eye, On whoever is going to give the World Record a try!
Good Luck to everyone in 2007! Great Job this year guys! Job well done!

1502 is not to bad. If i grew one half size, i would already be glad!
they are growing the hot seed, the 1068. I ,ve been trying to get one, but i,ve been 3 years to late!
But its not just the seed that gives the giants their size, Its mostly the grower, who thrue the years has become wize.
The proof are the wallaces, father and son, Look at their pumpkins how good they become.
And this year its my turn, atleast i hope it is, i will try to beat that record, i will make it my buizz.
I will probably fail big time?(lol)but without a doubt, i wil have have 7 month of fun and thats whats its all about!!!!!
Now enough off the chit chat get out off your chair, Get in to your patch and sniff upp the air.
Can you you smell the exitement, dont be afraid, we can almost start growing, i can hardly wait!!!
and to all the growers whos last year did suck, Just grow em big this year, i wish you all, good luck !!!!
Good luck in 07 everyone!!

Limericks are hard, so I'm going to cheat on the number of syllables:
There once was a family named Wallace Unrelated to Attorney General Gonzalez. They grew pumpkins so big, They outweighed their pet pig, See the proof at bigpumpkins.com, you-all es.
