My soon to be ex-husband is dragging out our divorce so I am going to start going by my maiden name now so that if I am able to grow a big pumpkin this year, the seeds will be known by my own name and not his.
Instead of Shannon Haefner, from now on I will be going by Shannon Dressler. Just wanted to let everyone know so you will recognize my bubbles and such.
I really appollogize for any confusion this might cause but since I'm still somewhat new here it shouldn't affect too many people.
Grow 'em big! Shannon Dressler

He is even committing tax fraud just to screw me. He has refused to file income tax returns for three years now just so they won't take the past due amount of child and spousal support he owes which is a little over three thousand dollars. Domestic relations is only able to take ten dollars a week towards the past due amount. I've contacted the IRS but keep getting the run around (if he owed money each year I bet they wouldn't piss around like this). He has his new girlfriend about eight months pregnant and is filing to have his payments reduced because he "will soon have another financial liability" (that's in his words). He makes me sick! His girlfriend is now only 20 years old and he is a 30 year old abusive alcoholic. She always had good grades in school and played sports and never got in any trouble. I really feel bad for her because he was able to get inside her head and ruin her life too. She used to be his assistant but got fired for screwing him. He is very manipulative. He's never done any real work in his life, he's a supervisor at a trucking company called CCX (Con-way Central Express) he tells truckers where to put thier truck loads of stuff and he stands around watching them. When we first split up, he completely abandoned me and our son said he was "going from my ex to my next" and that we could forget he ever existed. He wouldn't give a penny to get our son diapers or food or anything. Domestic relations had to garnish his wages to get any support from him. I was never alowed to work throughout our marriage and I had to go from one organization to another to beg for food and such. I felt like dirt. And this ain't even the tip of the iceburg! I could go on for days but I won't waste anymore of your time. Us splitting up was the best thing that ever happened to me and our son!
OK I'm done venting sorry for the long post, I originally intended for it to be about two or three sentences...LOL!

Sounds like the headache may be no where near over. So many people seem like sweethearts until you get to know them and see what kind of games they play. Keep your head up.

Thanks everyone! What doesn't kill us makes us stronger! And yes it looks like the nightmare isn't anywhere near over. The hard part is not saying anything negative about him in front of our son. He had our son calling me a bi*ch and many other words that are not appropiate. I refuse to stoop to his level. All that I will say to our son is that his dad and I aren't friends anymore but it's OK because we both really love him and will always be here for him no matter how we feel about each other. It's sooooo hard to say that with a smile.
I am a much stronger and wiser person now. You'll never appreciate how good life is until you know how bad it can be! Every day is filled with sunshine now!
