I have read that some circles of organic gardners reccommend using granite dust as a soil ammendment. I can get it from a quarry that crushes granite for construction materials. If I should use it, how much and when? I would think that this would aid in remineralizing the soil?
Thanks, Kirk

Wow! Twenty pounds a year on 1000 sq. ft. patch. It certainly does contain a lot of goodness. I made half an effort in the New Hampshire last year and found none. The granite I have avilable is fowled with acids and other elements used in carving memorial stones.
