Hello All! My father works in a Sawwmill, so i have acess to many of Bark mulch / pine bark nugget. they accumulate it year after year, and i've recently dig out from th bottom and found it almost rotten.
can i use it as a fertilizer? as anyone ever tried it? it looks a good fertilizer.

You will need to add a source of nitrogen. It works well as a mulch. If it is fully broken down it is an excellent ammendment to the soil.

I use it for [potatoes, just add manure.

One can always start up their compost pile with this accumulating for a later date adding additional ammendments in quanitities as needed. Let Mother do the work and add on once finished.
