Hey Shrumpkin..........I spent 1954-55 at MMA. Good luck in your efforts. You have excellent area soils. I still know half the living dolls down there aged 70 or so. :)))) I really like your area cause Sonny Bowman beats money out of me every time I visit....always to improve something on the campus. When at homecoming I usually theive some apples from the plant. Fair trade of course. Two for every guy on the football team and one for me. Makes a good load. Course the guys would rather it be beer. I Sonny does not catch me the main street antique shops do. Woodstock is a dangerous place for me to encounter. :))) You get a nice one going I will seek a patch tour during homecoming.

doc, not much of a patch here in Va, but have done well for Va standards grew a #530 in 2005 and #391 last year for 5th at Va state fair. Also helped some local newbies grow some #300+ last year. Use to lease MMA's farm camp
Lupton for hunting a few years back beautiful place that is now becoming a State Park. Woodstock is a fast growing place,hate to see it all built up. If your here look me up at the Sheriffs Office, just mention tall guy that grows pumpkins. Your welcome anytime, take care, Barry Shrum

Barry- I haven't got any seeds or a response back yet either. I sent two checks out the same day- one to Beachyseeds and one to Dills. I got my seeds from Beachy over 2 weeks ago!

remember seeds coming from Canada to U.S. are batched because of the phytosanitary certificate required for safe delivery. Spring is still a few months away.

We recognize the concern by some growers that it takes some time to get their seed orders fulfilled. However, when we post our new seed listing every year in December, there is the initial wave of orders, naturally causing a back up. Also, of course, the volume of mail leading up to Christmas creates delays. Even the way the postal system works, is sometimes "baffling". For instance, we have seen orders postmarked from the same State on the same day, however, sent by different methods. One by regular mail, the other at US express ($15.50) and lo and behold, the .63 cent stamp got here earlier! Just yesterday, Jan.8, we received a bubble from Ohio - postmarked Dec.18.
All we ask is for a little patience and everyone will receive their seeds in plenty of time. Thanks as always for your support and understanding. Danny
