Hello everyone. I have one of my board members wondering what other sites offer for prizes at their weigh offs. If anyone knows where I can find that information I would appriciate it.
Take care Lisa

The highest amount I have heard of was the urban growers of the twin cities in Minnesota. The prize was one million dollars. Paid yearly in payments of one dollar. Though I had the biggest pumpkin I was disqualified because I was a country grower. Got to love it. Bill

Yeah, and what if the organization giving out the prizes goes bankrupt or disbands after only 800,000 years? You'd be out $200,000!

Most weigh off prizes are listed in most club's newsletters. You might want to check some summer edition to see what everyone was offering this past year. I think most of the bigger weigh offs are @ $5000-$3000, with a couple offering a cash prize by the weight of the pumpkin. I'll check the newsletters from the other clubs I belong to & see what they are offering.
