I was in the patch checking out the leaves and I noticed there are some gnats and aphids on them. I don't know if they will hurt the leaves but what I do for my tomatoes is make a dish soap/water solution, 10-1. Does anyone have any insight on this?

I have seen gnats and aphids around my plants before but they never seemed to cause any problems. I suppose if you have tons of aphids you should deal with them.

Hi p,kingrower; I,ve had aphids before and dident notice them till thay got pretty bad. Then i noticed quite a few lady bugs in the patch i checked a few of the leafs that i noticed the aphids on and thay were dead(the aphids).local nurserys have lady bugs cheap 5 or 6 dollors for five hundred lady bugs. well i hope this gives you insight into your bug problem. good luck in 2000.
