The plant or the developing fruit?
This time of year, most folks are building or planning to build shade structures to keep the sun off the fruit.
I've used rebar with schedlue 40 pipes bent onto them in an inverted "U" shape. This is covered in a plastic tarp. Bungee cords or clamp clips can be used to secure the tarp to the structure.
Folks here will soon start debating which color tarp to use but I don't think it matters much. Orange is a popular color(Walmart & Uhaul stock orange tarps).
A couple years ago I started using bent 1" metal galvanized electrical conduit instead of plastic. It is much more durable. Just make sure you own a pipe bender or know a nice electrician before choosing metal.
In a pinch I've used those cheapo beach umbrellas too. Just make sure they are secure or removed during wind events.
