my freinds freind is growing one of my seeds (lookajook diary) and it has so far produced 90 females which I find odd, possibly not a good sign except for the fact he has one pumpkin started that is doing incrediable. Easily on pace for 1000 +. what do the rest of you think, will this plant keep it up or run out of steam?

Heavy GA3 causes males.

Are you talking about Giberillic acid? From what I remember it triggers females.

Have a couple of questions:

1. Were their very few/no males on this particular plant?
2. did he have to pollinate with a male from another plant?

I have found one gene that has been studied called: Monoecious sex expression - it is rec. to the normal Gynoecious sex expression.... If this plant is exhibiting this trait - I definentally want seeds for future studies!!!
