My 1204 Kline which I tried to poison, now has a double main 5 inches from the center stump. Massive growth, heading off at a 45º angle towards the verticle stock fence that Im going to try this year wanting to increase my sq. footage. We have had temps way above normal in Colorado......86 in MAY, 101 June 10th??? Consisten sustained heat..... No rain, lots of heat.....i have observed my garden way ahead of itself. mums that normally bloom in august already with flowers The Solstice is around the corner...... My Langevin already has a female and the plant has barely laid down. Males all over it too....This is going to be a very interesting year, but we do need some rain. Anybody know a rain dance or cloud seeding info??? lol Help Tremor.

Been cool and wet here until the past few days. We are still supposed to have rain but temps finally near 90.

Overall it's been a nowmal spring here... Now the past winter was a differant story!! The highest high we had in January was 81! Normal is like 30!!

Good Luck with all that heat, and I hope you guys get some good rain.

Oh if you would like to see how much rain I have had since April 6th go to this link:
http://www.cocorahs.org/ViewData/TotalPrecipSummary.aspx
Make sure the state is on Indiana and the county is on Shelby. Set the start date for April 6th and click search.

If you dont want to do that here is my total..13.67"!!about 3-4 inches above normal!

Yo,
I went out to the Jared's nursery....He has been saying he never gets hail, rarely gets rain...He's in a type of bowl setup against the mountians, 26 acres .... really a beautiful setting. When my wife kicks me out cuz I've gone punkin overload ( could be 2nite) Im gonna go live on the nursery in the drainage pipe. Ill post that pic soon. lol.......that way I can monitor the patches.....We got over 3/4" of rain in 1 hour....when I got home so Tremors is a mighty powerful wizard......i only got one more request Steve....a magic number........how bout 1020? Gotta beat Longbeard again he's growen big this year.

Maybe it was Bill Clinton who brought on the RAIN.....He dedicated the "Columbine Memorial" tonight at Clement Park.....Umbrella in hand right at 4:30 MST......Rained BIG TIME......I had 2 kids effected by that debacle. Sad Sad Sad..... but others...lost so much....we got to turn this around....some how....some way!

If your grow'en outside......your grow'en inside....

We're getting the same freakish weather as last year...Maybe even more 'extreme'....

Above Average Temps and little rain in April... Way BELOW AVERAGE TEMPS and way above average Rain in May..... Above average temps and only a trace amount of rain in June...

Though we're finally lined up for 24 hours of 50% chance rain!!

Guess those varieties that did well in my first growing season last year (DROUGHT and HEAT_HEAT_HEAT!) And are so far doing well this season.... Can truly be called 'extreme climate' GPs???
