Hey guys. I had one of my plants blow out the main vine around 6 feet out. I am sure the best thing to do is train a secondary as the new main. But my main question is, what is the largest fruit grown from a trained secondary that took over as the main but was not coming out directly from the stump??

For me this will be about 6 feet out where the secondary will be trained as the main vine. If anyone has any insight or factual information...please post it or email me. I posted pics today and you can view the split on the 125 Wolf when the pics are up. Thanks for any advice in advance!!

I just might not terminate the main now...any thoughts from anyone?? Would make a nice experiment...i guess someone should try it and see what happens...i will set the fruit on the left side of the vine which is the side that is not split open. Lets hope i get a fruit on that side...!!!

My 1204 Kline which I sprayed week killer on (wifes old sprayer) Has a monster second main 5-6" out from the stump. Massive growth........I got to leave this on but I only have so much room, It has to share with the Reiss 1233.5 which is taking off too. Im sending it to the vertical patch Im trying this year. Last year I had one runner that went up the side of the house, attached to the 30 ft pine and tried to grow into the sun. So this year I put up 10 ft stock fence, 16 feet across to assist with the desire so the plant can get to the pine again. No Im not planning on any females there only leaves, ought to be interesting to see what happens....might try growing a female ontop the roof though.....maybe not a good idea....
