Jordan Most competitve growers only grow one per plant. If you have a strong secondary main or rear main it is common to set a second pumpkin on it. The problem of course is if you only have one and you loose it, you have nothing, I grow multiple plants, set as many as I can innitially then cull down to only one per plant. No guts, no glory!
