Does anyone know what happened to Nathan and Paula Zehr? I don't think they weighed another pumpkin after they grew their 1061 in '96. Charlie

paula, nathan and children are doing fine. gave it up after reaching their quest of the thousand pound pumpkin. nathan called a few years ago to get a 1260 seed as he was thinking of planting again. we had a good talk about the less stressful giant pumpkin growing in the early 90's, and the time we competed at the new milford, conn. weighoff. he'll be back sometime.

Craig, Any plans of a comeback for you? If so, would you plant your 1260 Wier?

I'm starting to get the "fire" back to grow again, not sure if it will be this year or not (probably not) I won't plant a 1260.
