I wonder if the gpc and wpc are still fighting each other or does no one care any more.

Does the WPC still exist? If so, how many sites to they have? Is there still a massive prize for the first to hit 1500?

On top of Brush Mountain, Pa.

The WPC is alive and well. Ray Waterman has a big weigh-off each year. He also has the P&P Seed Comapny where you can go to buy giant seeds, lifters etc.

There is also the IPA (International Pumpkin Association) which is stationed in San Francisco, CA and Japan of which Barnesville, OH Festival is a part. The GPC is the largest as for number of growers and organizers. The WPC is basically run by Ray Waterman and he has a weigh-off each year in Collins, NY and prize money for top pumpkins. He had a $10,000 reward for the first pumpkin over 1000 lbs. which was taken by the Zehrs'.The GPC is considered "The Organization" by most growers. This website is considered "THE Website" for growers. "The source" for accurate info on all stats is the AGGC site. Don
