Casey took 3rd place with a pumpkin at 762 at Nekoosa, Amy took 3rd place at altoona at 788lb. I received 5th place at nekoosa as a squash at 543. All and all I think it wasn't a bad year for the growers of big pumpkins.com. Next year with each others help and experince I wouldn't be surprized if we brought home first place in five or more of the weigh-off sites across north america. Best of luck to everyone in thier search to obtain to their seeds for next year.mark

You did great too mark for your first year!! Everyone remember beauty??? Just think if she hung in there, that would have been a monster for Mark!!! Time to take over the Nekoosa weighoff next year mark, you and I, one and two, I don't mind if i get first or second or third...just top three.

Just got home from weigh off week in Oregon ajd California....catching up on 9 days of mail. and going through weigh off withdrawl....heah! guys this gal also had new personal bests this year. 729 in Canby and 824 at HMB And Damn proud of it! Got to meet Trout (aka Bill) and his organic giant too! He had his beauty at HMB and Salinas(748)! Congrats to Amy who grew her 788... it took me 7+ years to get 700. OK now what's your secret girl? write me privately :) keep'em guessing ! Lots' of new gal growers next year! Maybe a battle of the sexes weigh off? GG Shell
