Uncle Sam and Jodi have been harvested and put in the fair. We still have the vines out in the patch. We would like to know what we should do with the remaining vines. Should we just let it grow until the frost comes or should we pull them all out? We're confused. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

HELLO GANG: Yank them vines out, they aint doing anything now and the frost is just around the corner. take all the vines and toss them in the trash, if you don't then whatever is in or on them (insects/diseases) may over-winter in the soil and plant material and come back to visit you again next year.
Good job

Hi Riverview School Kids!
Congratulations on a fine season growing Atlantic Giants, and also on your display! I'm sure all of the rest of us would love to know what "Uncle Sam" and "Jodi" weighed in at! You kids are off to a very exciting, rewarding, and as you well know, sometimes disappointing new hobby. Kudos to you and your teacher/teachers!
Great Job!
