I had the pleasure of seeing the tremendous job the Riverview School Kids did this year first hand.

If you all thought that they had done a great job with their Grower Diary... you have no idea! I had the opportunity of going through their log binder that was on display with Jodi, their smaller pumpkin. In this 200 page binder were records kept on their pumpkins as well as research information, printouts from this site, and even personal emails of encouragement...

What struck me most were these emails from other members of the BigPumpkins.com community encouraging their efforts. For me, this alone made all the effort that goes into this site worth it.

Again, congratulations kids... your achievements have not gone unnoticed!

I thought the Riverview School Kids had a marvelous project going. I really enjoyed reading thier updates. Good job kids. I hope you posted a picture of yourselves in the Diary...I'll go check now
