I just read that someone in Ohio grew one 1109 lbs and someone in Ontario grew one 1064.5 UOW<I think. Thats 3 1000lbr's this year 2 U.O.W . With the big weigh-offs still ahead it looks like 1131 might not last.
I hope N.E. get its first grander (1000).

I have heard rumors of some biggies in New England but I have seen them with my own eyes (yet). Topsfield is just a week away!

I wish i was one of those rumors!! Happy with what i got here though, GO IRIS! many rumors have flown around that Mark Shymanski's 825.5 Wi state record is going down, i will see on Oct 7th, that is when my weighoff is. Iris would have to go 100 lbs heavy to get that record. so topsfeild is the 30th then? seems early.

I have also heard the family that beat the VT state record with the mid 700lb at the VT state fair in the first week of September at that time had another about the same size then so I don't know how much they grow in a month but should be good.

Things have been awefully quite lately, even the message board is down to a dull roar...
Hope everyone is just busy nurturing their "babies" before the big weigh-offs...
I hear Jim Kuhn's new England record is in jepardy as well...
