Could someone tell me roughly how many seeds and what % germination one can expect from a 700 lb+ pumpkin?

wp.......its hard to say. there are alot of variables. bigger pumpkin doesnt' necessarily mean more seeds. it depends on how well you, or the bees pollinated. and the environmental conditions. i think moonie, gerry checkons 1131 had not one viable seed in it. go figure. but there are others that get well over 500 good seeds in a pumpkin. good luck, scott

Also, the number of segments on the female flower plays a role. Each segment is pollinated individually and results in a separate seed sack on the inside of the pumpkin. So if all 5 segments of a 5 segmented flower were pollinated there would mostly likely be more seeds than a 4 segment flower.
