I use calcium nitrate because my soil test showed I was low on calcium. Mix 1 tablespoon per gallon and it must be the greenhouse grade that is water soluble. The other kind is agricultural grade that I think farmers spread on their fields. There is more info about this on this web site ...Go to the site search and type in calcium nitrate and hit go. Good luck.
