Weighed my 950 Boyton today! Used a tarp and about 14 guys, it was so fun to watch. She taped out at 359 ott, the two charts I had were, langevin's book II (896 lbs estimated) and the book III (945 lbs estimated). Brought in a 4 by 4 foot certified ground scale with about 30 witnesses lol! So the suspense was on and she weighed...... 861 lbs! She went light, but I'm still very happy!!!!:) 8% light with the heavier chart and 3.8% light with the smaller chart.

Cut her open for seeds and she was rotting good, but still sound besides the blossom split. 400 or so seeds retrieved. So I believe she is the second heaviest (unofficial with split, dmg) grown in southern california, missed 872 by 11 lbs lol! An awesome year no matter what with her splitting day 41 and missing 3 weeks of growth.

I want to personally thank Dan Carlson for all of his help and advice this year! Thanks my friend. And Vince George who helped me with the plant many times due to my disability. Couldn't have done it without you my friend. Therefore, the pumpkin and it's seeds will be known as the 861 Fredricks/George. Now it's time for the offseason!:) Jimmy

ps, email me if you had the closest guess for weight! Not sure who it was.

Congratulations Jim,
It was truly an amazing adventure that surpassed both our wildest expectations especially after the stump failure.
We both learned a whole lot this year and I am honored to have been able to be a part it.
We'll work on Fisssh's record next year!.....watch out Fisssh! Vince
