Something to think about. I keep checking for splits daily and I keep asking (what will I use if and when this happens?)...I have read something about using Caulking, if so, what kind of caulking? I have been thinking about that new product I keep seeing at the drug stores, called **Liquid Bandaid**,I think it may work, it's water proof. Has anyone used it for this reason??? What else have you used? I am getting 30lb gains now and want to be prepared.

Grafting wax is the best thing I have found. It sticks very well and will stretch if the crack continues to get wider.

I think every growing AG develops stress cracks as it grows. Those little one's heal with little or no care. Dust or mist them with a mild fungicide. The fresh dry air you need for the cure may be blocked by caulking and covering masks. If you should get rot under the mask or caulk it will be difficult to remove and treat.
Make sure your shade covers are vented at the roof line or are high enough for the heat to escape. Hot air rises and will stratify in your cover if there is no escape provision. All covers will cause a heat rise at the highest point.
