Got a plant with 3 set pumpkins , 2 about 200 lbs or so and a third that set later and is in the 225-275 lbs range...Should I cull one of the 200's or both or keep it as is ....Not planning to make the weigh off with these due to the late set (mid-July) but can use or enjoy the size(s) later in the season may even make a dollar on it/them ......Whats your call ? tough call. guess it depends on what your goal is. if you're not going for the gold, and can accept 3 nice ones instead of 1 or 2 bigger ones, i'd leave them all on.
ps- for a mid - july set, those aren't bad numbers for having 3 on the plant. you still might end up with something interesting if the weather holds up.

seems that if you have a later set that is going heavier faster than the first two? i would slowly remove ONE of the smaller two and eventually do the same to the remaining smaller one...give that biggie all the juice toward the end. just my opinion, but yeah, two fruit max. for the bigguns, one of them as a shock absorber....

I guess the question is.........do you want to go for broke, win or lose? If you want the largest possible get down, to the best growing one. If you lose it you will have lots, of company, to cry, in your beer with. If you don't lose it you may get a dandy. I say go for it.
