This coming saturday we are going to cutt off and weigh my 950 boyton. Unfortunately she split on the blossom 9 days ago and she is starting to rot on the blossom end. She is still growing a little but slowing way down from the rot. Yesterday was day 49 and she was 353 ott, 900 lbs estimated from Langevin's III book chart. She is almost 40 inches tall! 147.33 circ, 108.66 ss, 97 ee. She grew with no stump all season on secondary main, and was on a pace to go way over 1100 estimated. The largest pumpkin ever I have heard of in san diego is 650 lbs, and 872 lbs for southern california. it's been a fun ride! Let's see if we can be a new un-official southern california record. I'll give 2 free seeds to the closest guess for weight. cross was 950 boyton (845 self) x 731 stucker (801, sib). Please go heavy! lol Jimmy

Sorry to hear you lost 1 with THAT KIND OF POTENTIAL, OBVIOUSLY THOUGH, YOU DID A LOT OF THINGS RIGHT TO GET IT TO THAT POINT!!! My guess is 905#. I hope it goes heavier for you, but several southern fruit that you'd expect to go heavy have gone light, my guess is the heat effects the weights.
