I planted two plants back to back, if I pull one of the plants and dump a fresh pile of horse manure will this affect the remaining plant? (Meaning, will the nitrogen leach out and do damage to the remaining plant?
Thanks:-)

It could! Why not make tea and water it in less agressively?

If the plants are more than 6 feet apart, I wouldn't worry about it. If they are closer than 6 feet, I would refrain from letting the fresh manure overspill onto the growing area of the still existing plant. You should be fine.

A six inch rain over two days this year leached my compost pile nutrients more than fifty feet, into a neighbors yard. Boy are we growing some nice grass in half of his yard. :))))
