cant put picture here, so look at my latest diary to see the picture - i'm trying to figure out if i should cull pumpkin 8 feet down on vine, or the one 6 feet further. i've already cut off the ones even further down the vine. then i guess i should trim any tertiary vines?

Common theory is no terts., and 10' or more out on main. Just a nu-B repeating what he has read. Also suggest not culling to soon. Make sure the fastest grower is going to continue to grow. Made fatal mistake earlier!!! More info needed for educated people to make suggestions. How old are they? Which one is growing fastest? Etc.? Hope this helps. Peace Wayne and this is how weird this game goes...will pollinate fruit on tertiary tomorrow at end of 25' main. If it grows it is a good thing. We shall see.
