Im having a bad problem with some of my vines, on my main vine and some secondary vines thats really puzzling me, first I had some pumpkins on my main start out good and get to basketball size then abort on me,I noticed when they abort the plant end stops growing and starts yellowing up at the end then starts to grow and turn back to life after pumpkins are gone, now some of my secondaries are doing the same thing, if anyone knows whats going on with my plant please reply.

how wet is your soil?

soil gets pretty dry in the day because of the high temperature,I water in the evening.I dont know whats going on with this plant.
