Just like others, we have PM on our leaves. I do not like using fungicides but I used Immunox anyway but it did not rid the leaves of the PM. How many times should I use it before the PM is gone? How often should I use it? Thanks.

PM is one of those things that once it is there. You have it you are now trying to prevent it from spreading to the other leaves.

Powdery mildew is very difficult to eradicate also using triazoles, I suggest you 2/3 treatments with a fungicide every 8/10 days; always mix the triazole with other fungicides effective against PM to prevent resistance. There are some natural products that are effective against powdery mildew (especially when used as preventive). Potassium dihydrogen phosphate: http://www.epa.gov/pesticides/biopesticides/ingredients/factsheets/factsheet_076413.htm Baking soda: http://attra.ncat.org/attra-pub/bakingsoda.html AQ10 (Ampelomyces quisqualis) and ultrafine oils: http://www.ipm.ucdavis.edu/PMG/PESTNOTES/pn7406.html Milk: http://www.thefrugallife.com/mildew.html

you can't get rid of PM, only prevent it from spreading.

Prevention is the best medicine. A little late now but a good leson learned. To those who dont have it yet you better spray now. Personally I like Eagle 20. I think it can be bought off Pumpkinsupply.com. Its a systemic. MF

If you only use one kind of fungicide like Immunox, the PM builds a defense against it. I have learned from the PGPGA that we must alternate different fungicides every 7 to 10 days while adding 2 tbs of Baking Soda per gallon of water to each.
As a prevention I use Immunox, then Neem Oil, then Fung-onil all with Baking soda every 10 days. I also want to add Stylet Oil to this so that it is 40 days past until I use the same one again. All of these products fight PM in different ways.
We must spray under the leaves also.

ermacora67 good reading. Thanks. Does anyone know why I have PM on my two pumpkin vines but none on the cucumbers even though the pumpkin vines run into the cucumbers?

I think someone said each type of plant has its own "brand" of PM
