Well , I'm pumpkin-less on my 1370 now due to the last pumpkin on the main aborting after culling a nasty looking 40 lb er that was already growing. I have a couple females on secondaries that will open in about a week at the earliest, plant is 30 feet out with main already terminated.
Think I still have a chance to grow one out to a good size or do ya think my best bet is for a genetics cross only or maybe just pull it to leave me more time for my other plants. I did get some use out of the plant though,I did get to use the pollen to pollinate my 1260 Weir. What would you guys do?

This nu-B would pollinate and grow a couple on secondaries, if possible. I am sure a lot of work has been put into the plant, would be a shame not to try and grow something. Pollinate for good cross and send me some seeds...LOL. Still should be able to grow a couple of nice porch pumpkins, I would think. Peace Wayne

Brooks,
Cull the bigger unwanted fruits slowly by hacking a little bit of the stem every couple days over a week or so. The "trama" of getting all the juice quickly might be more than the little guy could endure.

Bummer Brooks!! HEy, you could send me a 1370 next year and I could grow it out for you!!!! LOL. Hey, really though, set those blossums on the secondaries. You may still get at least a nice conversation piece, if nothing else. Check out Tom's 1370 It's REALLY goin!! Mike
