I have to decide between a nice pumpkin on the main with a flaw on stem and and open pollinated baby 10 days younger on a secondary . . .

I'd go with the main vine fruit. I doesn't look like the flaw on the stem is a big deal. I don't like fruit on the secondary vines, I spend the whole season thinking what if. I avoid this by not pollinating any fruit on secondary vines. #2 I don't care for open pollinated pumpkins.
