A couple weeks ago I buried all my vines. Now they have somehow resurfaced again. This probably happened because when there was a wind they wiggled around and the dirt got under them pushing them up. My question is how do you keep them under the soil without them surfacing again? Thanks for the help.

Hold them down with cut plastic clothes hangers. Good Luck, Kevin

do you dig a small trench and place the vines in it before buring? sounds like you are just laying the main on top of the soil then placing some soil on top
we pin the ends of our vines early on with thin bamboo stakes and just move the stakes to pin the ends of the vine every time we vine bury this plus placing the vines in a shallow trench works well
once the tap roots are established it should not matter if the vines are exposed
as a matter of fact i truely believe that vines do much better and stay healthy when they are getting air and some sun
for this reason we have always this time of year gone back in and uncovered the top portion of our mains up to the pumpkin
