Hello all-
If you requested a copy of the benchmarks chart, I ask that you email me a request for an updated copy. I added some pretty signficant changes to the interpretation and Pumpkin Pacer.
First, my interpretation of what a 95% confidence interval was wrong...my apologies to the statisticians who may have picked that up. The data is correct, but the interp was wrong. The benchmarks represent the low end of the 95% confidence interval, not the average of all fruit grown over 1000. Simply using the average makes the goals harder to attain, whereas the interval includes fruit that may be below the average but still attained 1000lb status.
Secondly, I added a calculation to the pumpkin pacer 1000 that shows how many total inches in circumference each fruit is above or below the average 1000lb pace. This is a very useful tool for tracking how close your fruit's growth rate is to acheiving the elusive 4 digit mark.
