I wanted to thank everyone who encouraged me about 5 weeks ago. I was pretty down when my 950 boyton. lost the main to a blow out at 9 feet and then my stump rotted off 7 days later and I lost 20% of the plant from the rot. All this happened even before pollinating any pumpkins. I honestly thought it would be 3 seasons in a row with a disaster ending the year. I about ripped up the plant after the stump loss, it was suffering pretty good for awhile with no stump. Well, these plants are amazing, today is day 25 on my 950 pumpkin and I am headed for a new pb and then some hopefully. 86 inch circumference, 216.25 ott, 222 lbs estimated and these are my last 5 day weight gains, 21, 21, 26, 29, 33 lbs. And the 33 lb day was in 100 degree heat. I am in shock:) So thank you for keeping me going guys, we'll see how long it grows out. Jimmy
