Where do I go to find the techniques for standardized measurements? Standardized growth charts?
Currently I'm running a measurement tape around the pumpkins from the blossom end to the stalk end to get circumference.. Measurements are: 517 Glover - 41.5" ribbed 'watermelon' shape.. 625 Foss 'mother' - 41" smooth round ball...665 Mudd - 38.5" ribbed round ball..... 610 Garrell - 34" ribbed round w/pointed blossom end... 572 Moore - 30.5 strange oblong w/dill ring.... 1008.5 Mudd - 25" oval & 17" pear...

Once again BP.com has what you need...
Here's an article on how to measure. http://www.bigpumpkins.com/ViewArticle.asp?id=37&gid=4
What else was it you were looking for? Stunner also has some excellent stuff up on the Maine Giant Pumpkin Growers site: http://www.mainepumpkins.com/mepgo.shtml
Look in the Misc. Section on the left.
Best of luck, Jason

Hey teach, I got the 2005 Weight Estimation Chart from mainepumpkins.com Hope that helps. I use a cloth tape that I nabbed from ma's sewing kit to take measurements. Works well. Peace Wayne
