My favourite weather server just went down yesterday and I'm as lost as a 3 year kid in a Walmart store.
The Ontario weather page was linked to all radar and satellite sites. It was a very good resource climate data too.
What do you use for a weather resource?
Wet thumb in the air? or are you linked to the latest and greatest page?

Many new digital (hdtv) stations have a radar screen as one of their subchannels.I have two in my area that gives me a heads up when a storm is coming. It is very nice to have these. Try looking up your local channels on the internet and see if they have a radar screen.

for radar, the StormLab product at http://www.interwarn.com. Incredible product. It has a 14 day trial, but last time I downloaded, there was a bug and the trial period never decremented. Basically, it just translates the free NWS feeds for various radar slices, wind, water volumes (great for hail estimating), rain past 1 hr, rain past 3 hr, etc. Do check it out.

I´m using a radar system from a local university (60 miles range). If I make an overlay picture with a city map, I can even see a cell moving down my street. (http://www.meteo.uni-bonn.de/forschung/gruppen/radar/eaz_z.htm) Some of these private or university forecasts are much better than official stuff. It depends on your area, and conditions might be different even within a small range.

accuweather.com seems to have more Canadian info than wunderground. Also has a 15 day forecast option that rivals most 5 day casts. Chad
