At what part of the day is everyone fertilizing, in the morning or at night? I am taking a little survey here. I do hear there are advantages and disadvantages to both....Thanks, Ray

always in the morning. spraying plants at night doesn't give them time to absorb the moisture before night which increases the risk of fungus growth.

I put on fert. in the evening. I get up at 5 AM for work, and that's plenty early for me. There's no way I'm draggin' my butt out of bed any earlier to fert the punkins.

5 AM is the best time for watering and fertilizing. 4 hours remaining so the plant can dry before the sun will burn. Tom is right about the risk of fungus at night. I´m usually not up around that time but a cheap timer for watering/spraying can do the job.

Water around 5pm Spray between 6 and 8 pm. I already get up at 3 am for work. There's no way I'm gonna spray a punkin at that hour of the mornin'. Between work, a 8 1/2 month pregnant wife and a 2 year old I think I'm doin pretty good. Mike
