What can I do to protect some AGs from the heavy winds that are supposed to blow up to S.E.Tennessee?

ANY SUGGESTIONS?

Mcpumpkin, check out vinemans diary,best wind breaks i have seen,try something similar to that.I use two wooden 2x2's drove into the ground and then wrap the two all the way around. Its easy to install and cheaper then 6 ml plastic or even 4 ml.

SORRY, I use the saran wrap type plastic,you can get it at any rental moving truck place or even a office supply place.

fortunantly the winds should be down to 'tropical storm' strength by the time they reach us in TN.. You could also try stacking all your firewood along the Southeast side of each plant... Looks like that'll be where it comes from...

I use the same type of wrap Brooks.
it held up ok last year wind gust up to 70 mph.
its fast and easy to set up.
I set up 8ft fence post than wrap away.
still had some damaged but not as bad as it could have been.try not to use anything that could be blown over and do more damage to your patch.
I know all about Hurricanes living here on the bay.
