I doing quite well for my standards! I have two fruit pollinated on my 500 Wallace the biggest is 6 days old and 20 inches Circumferance, the second fruit is 4 days old and about 15 inches in circumferance. I will start pollinating fruits on my 1230 in the next couple of days. I will put up some pictures asap.

Well, they seem to like me as long as I keep feeding them and taking them for walks along the beach...
The Northwest is still in a refridgerator, hoping that the temps rise soon so we can put these plants to work on pushing some fruit along. Early measurements are off from last year.

Things to seam to be doing well here in wisconsin warmer than normal june has moved the plants along nicely well after a cooler than normal may July has been cooler than normal so far except for a day here and ther but the forecast predicts warmer weather a head. The 598 eddy's seed has been a pleasant surprise. The plant is sure a stud so far the pumpkin is growing very nicely. I'm very happy that we are having a warm or above normal summer so far...mark

Guess we're doing well.... 8" of rain deficit since May 1st - and hottest temps in 5 years....

Have one approaching Beachball size, some at Football, many at softball..... and still have a few plants that I've just pollinated this morning...

Glad I moved the veg garden over the septic drainage field this year.. seems the extra water from all three kids + the kids in my summer day camps - are keeping the vegtables watered and growing... And the tons of horse manure from the barn didn't hurt either **grin**

The Pacific Northwest has been averaging about 4.5° cooler daily temperatures so far in June. This has affected female and male production. Generally speaking,I am about five days behind 2004. It hit a rainy 64° today and the forecast for the next week says we might hit 80° by Wednesday! I'm not sure if my fruit can withstand that heat wave!! ;>)

We had a very cool May with a mid-month frost that damaged a couple of plants. Early June was cool and dry, mid June was hot and dry, Late June had decent rain and temps. We just lost one plant today to an unknown cause, maybe bacterial wilt. It went in about 2 days. Some other plants have different kinds of leaf problems. We are getting hot and dry again. All this along with major shoulder surgery on April 28. Overall, it has been a real challenging season.
