I've got a new Stihl 420 mist blower this year and I find I don't always use all of the mix and want to rotate what I'm spraying. How does everyone rotate liquids in and out of the tank?
Thanks!

judge how much you need and use it all
I put in how much AI I want, and then use the whole sprayer....then again, when I spray it takes several things full. If you only need 1 gallon, put in 1 gallon, thats my advice.

if you have to empty for some reason-just set blower higher than the spray wand-and turn the knob on-gravity will empty it-in bucket-or any container-i use all mine up-but when plants were small had to much a few times-im curious -out of the 3 differnt snap on cone spray patterns-i use the round-cone shaped one the most-what does everyone else use?

I set mine about 3.5 and use nothing on the end of the sprayer. I seldom have to elevate the RPM's above idle.

Im with Tom. I only put in what I know Im going to use.
Don I use the cone sprayer untill I do the fungicied then I use the up directional pattern to get under the leaves.

I have my leaf blower rigged up with a gravity feed line and a small inline valve to controll flow. On the business end a piece of screen wire taped on seems to make a dandy fogger.
Drilled one hole in the air tube to insert a piece of drilled plastic pipe. Dern....it works pretty good. Hey I might even get good underleaf treatments this year.

I played with diluted tea. The idle wind puts out a four foot floating fog. Winding it up to full speed ahead may be to much wind. It's a Stihl that will move light snow at full steam ahead. Getting close, to beleiving that one gallon, of spray fog, may well treat two plants at nearly full growth. I can fog my mature apple tree so the long gourds will get a little help this year. As far as I can determine it works nearly as good as the foggers now coming into patch management practice.
