Good morning: I have this hole or split in my main vine, it 12 ft from the start of the vine , The the fruit is 15 ft from the start of the vine. It's not all the way though just the upper part is. There good growth ofter the hole or split that happen. Any ideas of what I should do?

Let it be...then a week later cover it with dirt. My main vines were peppered with holes from hail. A week later they are totally healed and scar tissue has close the holes.

Jim, No I'm not a 3M grower, I do live in Maplewood next to 3M. I'm kind of new to growing big Pumpkins thing and made lots of mistakes.
What the biggest one you have grown?
