Of all the GPs that I've been selfing - I only have one that's aborted.. and it's ABORTED 4 in a row!!!
I've noticed that the pollen from the 572's (Bosworth & Moore) Seems to be VERY POTENT - even pollinates winter squash successfully! Since I don't have any females yet on the 572's - should I just go ahead and use them to cross onto this one plant that's having problems aborting all of it's selfed females??

Teach,I really dont think it has to do with the male pollen but rather then the plant that keeps aborting. Take as many males as you can inside the night before they open, like 5 to 10 if you can get them, and scrape them into a pill bottle and dump the pollen in thick into the female. Try to do it right when the female is opening in the morning like right before it gets light.
