Anyone know what the largest pumpkin grown that had seeds in the blossom? I grew a 620 last year that had seeds in the blossom, thats not very big, do they tend to split if they get big? A few of my females have had seeds in the blossom and I'm curious about what I should do with them. I did notice a deformity on my 620 where there were seeds in the blossom.

Ben, Just curious about if you had very many seeds in that 620 since it had seeds in the blossom end. If so how many seeds did you end up with?

um, it had a fair amount of seeds I'd say. I never saved the seeds because the inside was rotten and I didn't really care for the pumpkin enough to pull the seeds. I only saved 1.

Ben,
I tried one a few seasons ago and it got all funky at the blossum as it expanded, finally split around 400#. Dump the "seeds in the blossum fruit" for a later pollination if you have the chance, but still pollinate everything hanging on the main... See you at the weigh offs Hommie.

I believe the 1121 Ford had seeds in it's blossom end if I am not mistaken. Good Luck

I had a 695 off the 709 McCallum that grew just fine for me. It went 9.4% heavy and had an average number of seeds despite the blossom problems.
