I got a system as such for collecting pollen? (14 Plants)..Every night after work! Ill give the plants a walk through examening the understory for signs of yellow???? ripe flowers that are opening tomorrow are collected, and layed at base of plant for later collection.? of course "fresh is best" no dought! this way no pollen is wasted, cleaner for plant! // A short time later ,,I retrieve the box & board? the wife is asked annnd the dog usually follows! Recently Ive been able to pollinate w/2or3 fresh & 9/10 collected earlier to dump from envelopes! they are then toped w/styro cup scribbed w/ info It makes me feel good seeing a bottlecap amount of pollen used for a favorite cross! .... the glue is cut off during inital labeling of envelopes ,,, styrofoam would never be used except it can be etched into even when pen fades? rock is used for weight on envelopes! ceder board stables the flimsy box , and protects from moisture! this Ritual has bonded our whole family?
