We have experienced 3 thunderstorms today with the last one having gusts of over 60 miles per hour. There was some quarter size hail and a lot of rain that came down quickly. I had 2 tarps over my plants but I still had a little hail damage and lost 6 - 8 leaves because of the high winds. Anyone else get hit?

So far we've had nothing here in Morristown IN, and keeping my fingers crossed that nothing comes!

We had high winds here yesterday evening. Many trees damaged in the area. A few nice leaves bent over on one of my A.G.s. The hail missed here, but was close by. It could have been worse, but the damage I did have is frustrating, as it was my best looking plant. I'm still hoping to break 800 lbs. this yr.

Anamosa has been spared the storms, so far. We had a tornado go by a few miles away 2 weeks ago. Northern Iowa has been pounded with rain and flooding, and far east Iowa is burning up. We have been drier than normal, but are getting just enough to keep things going. It has been breezy a lot of the time, but no severe winds and no hail.
