how bad will hail damage hurt my plant we had a real bad thunderstorm hit today and it punched a bunch of pea size holes in my leaves but fortunately it didnt shread them i hope its not too much to hurt the plants cause they were doing so well dan

I had a plant couple years ago puting on about 20 lb/day. . .had minor hail (6-8 holes per leaf), it slowed to 15lb/day for a couple days then got right back on track. . .ended up at 545 I think.

last year gene mcmullen got hit as hard as any patch can get hit and still managed a 895 pounder. all is not lost.

i was hit early with hail damage , most leaves had gum ball size holes, the plant recovered well and i grew an 1173, this was last season , so hang in there all is not lost.this plants can take a beating!good luck.
